Joe Clancy

Hello and welcome to Joe Clancy Drums and Audio Production. I have been working in and around audio for the last 35 years. A large part of this career was working as a lecturer and manager in higher and further education. During this time I was managing a recording studio for a college in Central London and recording countless bands with and without students in both live perfomances and traditional multitrack recording scenarios. The artists were diverse from rock, metal, indie, electronic, soul, r&b, hip-hop and big band jazz.

I am now offering my services as a remote recording engineer for recording artists in the north east and beyond. My skills with working in both analogue and digital equipment are to a very high standard. I specialise in close microphone techniques and also stereo and ambient techniques. My aim is to produce a real dynamic recording experience which captures your performance naturally and perfectly.
