As an audio engineer and FE and HE audio engineering lecturer teaching for over 15 years i have vast experience of live sound and studio recording scenarios and techniques. My aim is to offer a bespoke recording of your live performance. Incorporating microphone placement and techniques to capture your performance in the highest possible way. Ambient and audience recording is paramount. A lifeless and dead recording is not my aim! A good and varied selection of microphones, Neumann, AKG, Sennheiser, Beyer, Shure etc are available to choose from. Multitrack recording to a dedicated professional standalone HDR and signals transferred through dedicated pro microphone splitters and mic pre's. meeting with artists before the performance and recording and discussing your needs is very important. i want to understand exactly what you want to achieve and then therefore work out the best way to achieve this. Individual stems will be made available and a choice of a mixed stereo recording to WAV, CD, DAT, Compact cassette and analogue quater inch tape is also provided.
